The Bet
It all started with a bet. Would Daniel give up his well-paid job as the head of production of a beverage company to build a brewery from scratch? It was not only his wife who had her doubts. In the end, he won the bet and gained on top many fans for his fine and very easy-drinking craft beers.
Craft Brewed
Our beers are genuinely handcrafted. This is only possible if you know the raw materials and the processes really well. Our very experienced brewer Jürg Weibel, who has been with us for many years with a great passion for beer, ensures with great skill and attention to detail that our craft beers have character and are of consistently high quality.
Less is More
We don't chase after every trend and brew according to the principle "less is more", concentrating on 5 beer specialties. Our beers are rather light and very drinkable. We offer the following types: Lager, Amber, Pale Ale and an alcohol-free beer. Moreover, once a year we brew our specialty for the colder months of the year, our dark Porter Baltic Style.
Taking Responsibility
Sustainability and naturalness are important to us. We have started to produce all our beers in organic quality since 2023. They are also available in reusable bottles. In addition, we have been working with the Brühlgut foundation for more than 15 years, creating jobs for people with disabilities.
