RECORDING OF INDIVIDUAL NUTRIENT INTAKE
In clinics, in sports or depending on the catering concept, you often want to know exactly and communicate to the "guest" in real time what nutrients they are consuming. By placing force sensors in the buffet, smartTONi controls the information between the kitchen and the change in weight when scooping per individual dish. The "guest" is told what nutrients are already on their plate and what they are scooping. The approach is used in order not to exceed / fall short of the daily predefined requirement. However, the same can be supplemented with further content and features as required.
INDIVIDUAL FOOD PREPARATION
Individual food preparation is often requested for health or taste reasons. The kitchen team could do it - but only if it knows the individual wishes for each incoming kitchen order and the ingredients and mise en place necessary for the corresponding preparation are available. smartTONi provides this information to the chefs responsible for the preparation for each individual order, where conventional POS systems fail. To record individual customer requests, the system always and only provides the service kitchen with the possible combinations of ingredients and mise en place currently available.
PREP STATION: INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY AND CONSTANT QUALITY
What happens at a pick-up or delivery station? The online orders come in, the chef reads the ingredient list and tries not to scoop the wrong ingredients, not to measure the wrong ingredient weight, not to waste too much time.
With smartTONi, the counter of the prep station becomes smart: ordered ingredients are illuminated, already scooped ingredients in a different colour. Portion weight and scooped weight are displayed to the chef in real time. Required labels / receipts are printed automatically.
